Nothing.  You're good.  A wary deer will move to crouch at the first sound, so you'll actually be hitting it in the vitals at the sound of your release as he crouches to leap away.

Do you shoot instinctive or gap?

I start by looking down the arrow and as soon as i start to draw i only look at the bullseye.

if you are grouping good I wouldnt make any major changes to your form.  Only make one change at a time if you do start experimenting.  Every now and then my buddy would shoot(good groups)a little low for some reason and he would just focus on a spot a little higher than the intended target.  It would come and go. If you are putting the point dead on then you will need to raise it a little or shorten your arrow until it hits dead on(careful with spine).

Two other things that will cause low hits are string knock point to high and short drawing the bow.  I am not sure what your deal is or if it is actually a problem.  Like WAI said "Your Probably GOOD".  If this bothers you (confidence)
then try working on some of these things one at a time.  Try adjusting your nock point 1/8 inch at a time down and shoot to see if it makes a difference.
Are you hitting low at different yardages?

I have the same, since going to 3/u. I find that I am not keeping enough push, in my front arm, not a collapse , just not enough tension in my front arm.. Shoot at 18 then, move 1 yard back at a time. takes a couple of weeks for me to increase range..

Keep doing what works for you!  The several test I mentioned were part of the elimination process.  It is not your nock point or your draw arm elbow so keep everything the same and practice! practice! practice!  For you to be able to notice a small thing like this your groups have to be small so just keep doing what your doing(moving back slowly a yard at a time to let your mind work it out) and one day it will just click and you will good to go.....That is until the next problem shows up!  Have fun....AKbearb8

Good advice!Like what has all ready been said,"if your arrows are grouping you are there. You will eventually subconciously adjust to center of target.............. Doug, did you get my e-mail I sent you?

longbowben,

In my experience most arrows fly pretty flat out to about 20 yards +/- and then they start to drop more than they did in the first 20 yards. It sounds like your drop point is around 18 yards. You just need to aim a little higher, just like you would if you were shooting at something 25 or 30 yards away. This is nothing unusual.

I just started using the 3 finger under release and at 20 yards I'm about 2-3 inches under also.

So, I just put the point a little higher on the target.  I just noticed the arrow drops a little more this far away.

at 10-15 yards, 3 finger under seems to be point on accurate (as opposed to split "gap" rule)...which is why I like it so much better.

The reason you shoot low at these distances, you answered yourself.
Extend your range weather you think you are ready for it or not.
If you don't push yourself you will achieve nothing.
