Martin Hunter

I'm shooting a Martin Hunter 45# drawing 29.5 Shooting Axis 500 30in 100 grain insert 100 grain field point brace height at 8 1/4 not at 1/5 .
Have tried several arrow and different brace height and nock set.
I get a shelf noise and rug wear on the outside edge, It sounds like the shaft is slapping the shelf.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Possible the nock point is too high and the arrow slightly weak?
Maybe try losing some weight up front--a regular insert w/ 125gr points.

put the bow on it side and cover the riser above the rug and then shoot one arrow and see if have drag marks. I think you will find you have to increse your nock point that it is to low, and the brace height is just about right...
