Terry, I wondered the same...with it being 45 @ 28", I had scaled it with my arrows to be about 54#. This wasn't a problem weight for me when I worked in the archery shop. I was shooting hundreds of arrows per week out of every type of bow possible. I was able to shoot 100# compounds with ease, back then. Also able to shoot 65-70# recurves as well.
In the fall of 06, my draw shoulder started giving me fits so I went to a sports med doctor. This guy treats all the CMU athletes, and is the best around. X-rays confirmed partial seperation of the socket, stretched ligs/tendons/ and 2 bone spurs. Not really wanting or having time for surgery- I did the band excersises for the last year, and haven't had much improvement. I still get very sore, but it stems from a lot of coaching (2 little leauge teams, summer softball, football, and 2 b-ball teams) so- I am always playing catch and throwing a lot. This is also why I don't have time to rehab after surgery- I don't want to give up the coaching right now.
My budget doesn't have a new bow in it- so I may try to swap limbs and find a longer set, that would be around 52-54# at my length. I'll get working on the vids right now. well- I don't have the right driver to download my vids. I'll have to get it from home....
