I keep hitting the tip of my nose when I release. No, my nose is not big. What am I doing wrong?

You may not be turning your head enough in the direction of the target. You might want to try something, just for fun. Set up in your normal position and close your left eye (assuming you're shooting righthanded). You might find that your nose is blocking your right eye from seeing the target, and that you're really looking at the target with your left eye. I found that out by accident one time when the left lens was removed from my glasses, and it became obvious that I was looking at the target with my left eye since the target was out of focus.

I did the same thing for a while but found when I conciously opened my stance it stopped. Try that too.

You might see if you are canting your head more than your bow. Sounds weird, but I have seen it done.

You may, as I have in the past, be drawning a little to far in an attempt to "get your back into it", ie. sriving for back tension.
The other posters gave really good suggestions, and Man does that smart. LOL
Good Luck
