Daughter's new bow
« on: January 19, 2009, 02:57:00 PM »
I know she lurks here and she is going to get mad that I posted this but I'll deal with that latter.

This is her first bow and her first time shooting it.  She has had it about a month now and can kill balloons out to 15 yards now with consistency.

Last night I got an email.  It seems she has bought another long bow that will pull legal hunting weight.  She further suprised me by asking to actually go hunting!

Well, I should say my elbow doesn't stick up so bad now.  Can't believe you posted this, lol.

Looks pretty darn good to me.  Doesn't look like it's the first time you've shot a bow!  Looks like you are coming to full draw and have a smooth release.  What's with that bow hand dropping after the shot?

That's why I wanted to film you shooting now so we can see the difference.

I'm proud of you.

I've gotta work on my hand dropping after I shoot.  Just takes some practice I guess.  Thanks!

It was way low but it is the correct brace height now.
