I am attempting to achieve perfect arrow flight out of my new Treadway Black Swamp longbow 60" 47#@28" with Blackhawk 2000 shafts cut to 28.5" and 145 grains up front. I shoot right hand. Note that this bow is not cut to center. At fifteen yards and under, i have great groups fletched and bareshaft, both windage and elevation. Beyond that, the fletched shafts fly adequately but not great and with the bareshafts I notice porpoising. When i go to more weight up front, bareshafts indicated weak spine, likewise with less weight up front i get a stiff indication. I have modified my shelf to get the arrow directly above the throat of the grip to help eliminate torque. When i shoot through paper, i get a slight nock high indication. I shoot split finger, deep hook with a tab. I have noticed a bit of soreness on my third finger so perhaps this is part of the issue. Any advice, suggestions, etc.
