Burlap Bags?

Looking for a source of cheap burlap/feedbags bags. Need a pretty large surplus of targets for something I'm planning, and I've tried everywhere. Kinda low on local feed stores in the area. Was wondering if anyone had some lying around they'd be willing to part with, or better yet, sell?

Got any large horse farms in the area? When I worked horses, the supplier would give us a "credit" of about 50 cents a bag for all we returned. The price might have gone up in the last 25 years!

If you ask the manager of a medium-large operation and double the price, maybe you will get the bags instead of the feed store. (ask for them first, and then the manager will tell you yes, or tell you about their arrangement with the feed store.)

The other option is to go to a fabric store and see if they have a burlap substitute. How hard can it be to sew up a bag?

Burlap is $2.99/yard at JoAnns Fabric.  I just bought some.  Several colors too.

I found that the plastic woven bag's are more weather resistant and last longer.  Same places as burlap and construction sites or manufactering plants.

I have several of these plastic woven bags. These are the kind the crop dusters and farmers use around here. They are huge, and have handles as well. If you ever come to Mississippi, I'll give you some.  :D
