I have purchased a lower weight bow(Quinn Comet) to work on form and accuracy and recently have tried a little string walking(sorta). When I say "sorta" I mean that I have only tried it at short distances and with only one crawl mark. This seems to be very good for accuracy as I look right down the arrow like a gun barrel. Now for the questions.
- Does anyone use a single crawl(say 20yds) and just aim a little high or low for distance? I am mainly referring to hunting.
- My crawl mark is ~ 1 inch below my nock. Is this enough to throw off the tiller of my bow? Can I use this method with a standard tillered bow?
- If so, what tuning tips can you experienced guys offer. Higher nock point? etc.
- Any problems with broadhead tuning(again from a standard tiller bow)?
I switched from compounds a couple years ago, but I am as new as they come to stringwalking.
Thanks, Mark
