I have recently acquired an original Shrew LB. 54" 56@26, so Im figuring about 62-63# at my 28" draw.
Now first off, Im ok with the weight. Slowly working into it and liking it more and more. No soreness...but I cant shoot it all day, yet.
My issue is canting. I have never had to cant a bow before, but find I have to with this one, simply to keep the arrow on the shelf. I have been thinking about skinny carbons to help with this some.
I hit ok with it canted. Just dont like the fact that the arrow is dependant on canting to stay on the shelf. Then when I switch to my old bow...yep, you guessed it....extreme cant has become "normal" and I have to try not to do it. Is there anything to be worried about here, or am I overworking an already overworked brain?
I have been trying to imagine full draw on a deer/turkey, and having the arrow roll off the shelf...
Any advice/suggestions/ideas out there other than a real skinny arrow?
