looking very forward to this weekend!!!
« on: November 15, 2007, 07:30:00 PM »
well i have been working hard and have not had a lot of time to hunt. this weekend i plan on putting some time in the woods and the deer are are rutting pretty hard by my house. a nice 6 point has been chasing does all week long. my brother in law has been hunting my area and has missed both a doe and the 6 point! however this weekend it will be myself and Bowspirit ( Chris Dewitt ) that will attempt to take our first trad deer. i see deer in this spot EVERY time i go however i have passed them up and now i'm getting real HUNGRY! hope to have a great story for ya saterday night!

I'm looking forward to the story. From what I've gathered from many of your previous posts you'll have a great time, if meat is made or not.

Man oh man, how I am looking forward to this hunt. With such great company, I don't even care about getting a deer...well, that's not true, but along those lines...

thanks for all the encouragement and kind words! rifle season will be open but the the 10 acres we will be hunting is posted and i have sole permission. the deer tend to gravitate to this area after the first week of rifle season. they seem to be here early this year and with opening day of rifle i think more will be pushed this way. i can not hunt the morning due to prior commitments, ( honey do list!! ) but Chris and i will be in the woods early afternoon.
