« on: July 22, 2009, 07:04:00 PM »
i am right eye dominant and shoot right handed it seems like i focus better on the target with my left eye closed like when i shoot a gun. is this a bad habit i need to stop?

Do you shoot with sights or instinctively?

Watch the best shooters, gun or bow, and you will see that they almost 100% have both eyes open.

Both eyes open is definitely the way to go for instinctive shooting.  The only exception would be if you don't have a strong dominant eye, and maybe one time your left eye is dominant, and the next time your right eye is dominant.  In that case, you probably have to close one eye.
