Split finger since I started with a lilac bow and golden rod arrows....about 1953'ish. 8^).

I just recently switched to three under. I have found that it made for a little bit more forgiving release. I was haveing some major target panic issues and that is one of the many things that I tried that seemed to help some.

Started split finger in the mid 1970s. I played a bit with 3under. Split finger works best for me.

It is not an either or scenario, you need a third option: or both. I shoot three under left handed and split right handed.

Gene-o from Australia here guys. I shoot split, my wife and son shoot three under. I say try them both out and shoot what you feel works best for you.

Split finger for 51 years, since I was 5 years old. I have tried 3 under a few times, but this old dog can't (or won't) learn that new trick.

I used to shoot split finger when i was a kid but since i started trad again i wanted to try three under. now when i try split it seems to awkward. sticking with the three under i especially think for me three under is easier on heavier lb bows

I switched to three under a few months ago. I've seen a lot of improvement since then.
