I didn't realize I was doing this wrong, but last night at the range a gentleman brought to my attention that he thought my bow was a tad louder than it should be. He said I'm probably plucking, even though my hand remains close to my face on follow through. Took some time to figure out but I was basically shooting off my middle finger, as soon as I made a conscious effort to distribute the load across all three fingers, major improvement in how the bow sounded as well as a little more draw length and tighter anchor. Never did get my new coach's name, so wherever he is, big thanks. I really don't mind those interuptions.
So I guess this carried over from shooting a compound with fingers. Where the drastic letoff will allow that type of release. Back to the practice field I go.
