Howard Hill shot with one nock point and the nock set was under the nock of the arrow, with no nockset on top. I find that my longbows shoot best with one nocking point under the nock. Set that nock point under the nock where you are hitting the spot you want to hit at about 20 yrds and leave it. There is nothing wrong with shooting split and one nock point under. just make sure your nocks do not fit the string too loose!
