I shoot 3 under with the bateman tab. anchor finger in the corner of my mouth.  I use to shoot a glove changed to the tab about three years ago. It took awhile to get use to it tho.

Bateman tab works best for me also (3under) I trimmed off the top corner, It was hitting my nose.
I anchor thumb knuckle to earlobe, feather touching nose.

I just switched to a tab and wow. I get some nasty plucks and just plain rough releases with a glove. I tried the tab and bingo smooth as can be. I couldn't believe how much better my shooting was. The only thing I'm working out is my anchor. I think I'm going to use my cheek bone and my mouth as a new anchor. A number of friends have told me to use a tab for years. I'm a slow learner to old dog sindrome!!

I'll be taking scissors to my tab tonight! Hope that makes the small difference I've been looking for.
Thanks for the xprt advise

Yep, trimming the tab does help.  Also, it's been very cool to read about PCs progression in tab usage.  No doubt can outshoot me any day!
Thanks Pinecone

Wapitimike, I can relate.  With a glove, sometimes it felt like my fingers would kind of cling to the string.  The resulting pluck was anything but pretty  :scared: .  The tab definately changed all of that!

Don't be too sure about me out-shooting you, Eddie.  I did very well on targets and at tounaments last year, but missed a couple of critters that I should have killed.  As a result, I completely revamped my shot (and focus) over the Winter and am now feeling much better about things. But the proof is in the pudding, so we'll see what happens during turkey season    .  Stay tuned...!
