Hey that's the same place I shoot. There's never anyone there during the week from 9am until after 3pm.   :saywhat:

Michigan's '07 bow season opener was unseasonably warm with a threat of overnight rain. Rather than risk wasting a deer by (potentially) having to leave it out overnight and subjecting it to summerlike temperatures, I spent my opening evening practicing behind the house while watching deer below my tree stand in the background.

I like the deer in the background looking right at you.

Most have seen mine (I get to thinking) but I know our "gang" keeps growing, so this is early this AM on my home range. Last light patch back is many old rugs drapped over an iron pole between creasoat beams, and boarded on back - for a safety backdrop. Oh yeah, all 3D targets (and some of the others) are second hand (acquired over the years) from  auctions, yard sales, etc.- most for $5.00 or less, or I couldn't have them all - trust me    "[dntthnk]"      :D   .

From My Tower:

From The Ground To Left of Tower:

Forgot to mention - from on the ground I can drop back to 40 yds. even on the first target, if I (or someone else) want to.

So do the kids "draw straws" over where to sit when dad wants to practice?

Here is mine, there are a couple of animals I couldn't get in the picture. Most are shot up animals I picked up after ASTB tournaments for less than $25 each. A little Great Stuff foam, a little paint  and I have a pretty good set of targets.

Here's my backyard range. No 3d targets yet, but I have got a 4ft boss which is really nice for long distance. I can shoot out to nearly 70 yards here! I very rarely loose arrows here with the sand bank behind the target.
