A few more pics from IBO - bows
« on: July 24, 2010, 08:44:00 AM »
The bows shot at IBO Worlds has been mentioned in a couple of threads. I took more pics that I did not post so I thought I'd post these for folks to see. The site reduces them so you won't be able to see them quite as well as a normal size photo but hopefully they will scratch the itch of a few folks that mentioned what shooters were shooting.

Great pics. Thanks. Can you ID the bow and/or the shooters in pics 4 and 5?

Pic 4 looks like a Hoyt just not sure which one. I would guess a 25" Nexus. No idea about the one in pic 5

I can help, Pic one is Rick Welch. I'm guessing he's shooting a dakota. Pic two is Tye Pelfery from CA. Nice guy. You might recognize him from the masters of the barebow dvds. Pic three my son(19) William shooting a widow. Pic 4 is Paul from IL. Not sure what he's shooting but he bet me by 2pts and ended up in the finals of the hunter challenge. Which brings us to pic 4. Ryan Ramesey from OK. I think he said the bow was a Flanigan? Wood glass 3pc longbow and he shot it better than I've ever seen anyone do it. nothing but 10's and 11's. He also won the modern longbow class with a 388 or 89 on 40 targets. Don

Those Full Draws are just too good for me to ignore (for my Traditional Bows Drawn Pages), especially now that Don has labled most of them for me - LOL

Don did you mean pic #5 was Ryan Ramsey (looks like you used 4 twice, if I'm reading right. (Not nit-picking but would like to make sure I get it right - 'specially since he was the big winner.

Thanks once again, RangerB
