Hello guys,
let me start first. I shoot twice a week at my archers range: at tuesday evening and sundaymorning.
Tuesday we get one hour training from our coach. Close ranges and he is very keen on your form! I bet he can hear it when you make the slightest mistake....We don't shoot many arrows.
Sunday from 10 till 12 I shoot with 4 fellow archers, we have fun, drink coffee, tell dirty jokes. We shoot mostly at 27 yrds (25 meters) We try to hit a paper of 4 by 4 inches.Last Sunday I hitted it twelve times. We shoot some more arrows, let's say 100.
Then I have a shed were I can train. It is only a 3 minutes drive and it is BIG. Here I train at 16, 22, 27,33, 38 and 44 yards. (15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 meters). I train the different distances beacuse I am into 3D. I try to do this on monday, wednesday and friday morning and even saterday if the wife hasn't planned anything.
Here I shoot many arrows, 100 the least but mostly some more, even as much as 250 per session. I shoot at a target with a small yellow circle with a diameter of 5 inches. Even on 44 yards I hit it frequently now, let's say always 2 out of 6 and sometimes even more. The other arrows are mostly close.
The training in the shed is very intensive. Because nobody is there, I can concentrate very good. I like it a lot, it's like meditation....
