Jesse,

No........that is not normal. Your draw length should be the same in your hunting clothes. If you are wearing a jumpsuit of any kind it can cause you to not be able to reach your normal draw length. It's the distance from the crotch to the armpit that is getting you, if this is the case.

jesse,                                                                                               I am strictly a hunter so when I practice I always dress as though I were hunting. In the spring/summer I will dress as though it were a warm fall day.I always practice with gloves on because I always wear gloves when hunting. As fall progresses I dress for the weather coming up and still try to practice as often as possible. There are enough variables to deal with when in the field but clothing should not be one of them.

As stated above it's always good to shoot in your hunting gear and your draw should be the same. Over the years of trial and error I have found the proper fit of clothing is very important to me. I have long arms so get tall shirts even thou the tail is long. I make sure packs, binos, layering systems all fit so I can reach proper form and aligment. Maybe this will help alittle and good luck.
