Limb wedge length for t/d lb??
« on: November 18, 2007, 09:03:00 PM »
I want to make a take down longbow.  Is there a rule of thumb on how long the wedge should be?  This is a r/d youth bow BTW.

I think a couple of inches past the end of the riser should work ok. No rule of thumb. I have seem wedges go a good ways up the limb but they get really thin so they work some.
