Elk. No matter if it was with a rifle, bow, big stick, rock etc. Just as long as I thought there was the smallest chance I might kill one!

I'd like to hunt jaguar and then maybe a tahr, or ibex, and then for the real odd one a golden takin!  Course, they'd all have to be off te ESL!!  Almost sure that no one has ever taken one in the modern era with a bow.

Really the total experience is the draw, not just taking killing the animal or getting a trophy, but the area, the surroundings, etc.

Reckon Moose are top of my list-but probably more for the country that for the kill. I know me I would forget I was hunting and just ROAM-looking around! I like to walk. caribou and elk are following close.

Always be stubborn.

Captain hindsight to the rescue!

I used to dream of a Brown bear hunt.

I`m pretty sure I would be brave enough. I can shoot good enough under pressure. Heavy bows... no sweat. I can walk all day with a pack on my back... uphill, no sweat.

As I have gotten older, the thought of leaving my wife even for a week has become a stopper for me.
I worry, that as soon as I arrived at my dream location, all I would truely want, was to go back home as soon as I could.

I`m living my dream chasing whitetails right here at home, showing my kids how much a hunting lifestyle has to offer.

A big bull elk with a bighorn ram a close second.  Ben
I would've taken better care of myself,if I'd known I was gonna live this long!

I want to hunt every big game species in Idaho, and some day head back to AK for griz and caribou, and moose.
I need to get busy!   :archer:

I've been fortunate to hunt most of the animals that are in many of your dreams. To name some, elk, moose, caribou, brown bears, black bears, Mt goats, Mt lions, sheep and African game. Every hunt started out as a dream and I somehow made them happen. My advice, follow your dreams if you really want to live them. Some of those animals aren't that expensive to hunt so stop dreaming and go!

What I dream about mostly is hunting all North American sheep. With the cost associated with those hunts it is something I know I will probably never do. But I'm not ruling it out quite yet because we all have dreams and that is mine.

I've been sitting here thinking about this for a day or so and I can't come up with any one animal.

I've always dreamed of going to Africa, Alaska, New Zealand, BC, etc.   Not so much to hunt but just to see it.

I love to hunt, don't get me wrong, but for me its more of the being there and experiencing the location more then the taking of any specific game.

Everything mentioned would be a wonderful hunt, but the fact is, if we had Rabbits and Quail here like we did when I was a kid, I could finish out hunting them.
Is it too late to be what I could have been?

Mine- an alaskan moose.  Would love to hunt the areas Fred Bear and friends roamed....
Elk, Caribou are next on my list.  I would say my number one goal right now- a big whitetail-say over 140".  Have been trying- with no success- yet.
