As it got lighter out a chorus of shotguns shooting could be heard. The pheasant hunters were back at it and I am sure some folks were sighting in guns for Monday's opener. It was not the best of circumstances to be hunting in as some of the shooting was closer than one might like.
I made it to the bottom of the ridge and took a few pictures that I posted above. Saw my third squirrel of my visit, a black colored fox. He was busy going about his business about 60 yards away. The chickadees were doing their usual flitting about and peeping, if not for all the gun noise it would have been about perfect in the woods.
