Swans with a bow
«

Did a search and didn't find what I was looking for. I have a swan tag and am considering taking the bow. For those that have hunted them with a bow I have some questions.
Do you lose a lot of arrows?
If I am hunting with a bunch of gun hunters do you think I'll have a chance maybe after they have all filled their tags?
Can they be called in close enough to take a 20 yard shot?
Do you end up chasing the bird you hit?
Anything else?

Joey Buchanan - Joebuck on here, did a hunt somewhere around Manteo or Spot on the outer banks some years ago and wrote a story in TB or the Trad Bowhunters of GA.
Its certainly something to pursue.
Good luck.
