Right idea, a few details of clarification in a PM I just sent. The shoulder rotation is extremely powerful and will help get tension out of that string elbow.

The head motion just before the release would throw me off. It was the reason I shortened my draw a bit, according to the longbow guy that could expect to hit those aspirin i was drawing past my stature. If it works for you, go for it.
