Nock high with 60" recurve

I can shoot my longbows bare shaft to tune and get them straight with one nock point. All the bows are reflex\\deflex bows at 62" and I can shoot wood or carbon it does not matter. I have had a few recurves and only have one now, I have owned it for a few years (60" Predator). In order to get it to tune correctly I need two nocks, one above and one below, quick and accurate it is but it bugs me. Has anyone ever thought that maybe it's the shorter length that causes this? I assume it is but didn't want to throw another 350 bucks for longer limbs to figure out this was not the issue. Love recurves and shoot them more accurately but have mainly shot longbows due to this issue. I have read in articles this happens and the double nock solves it. Anyone go longer and get the issue resolved ?

28" is well within the range of a 60" recurve.  2 nocks are used by many 3 under shooters, because of their higher brace height, and because the apex of the string angle is substantially under the arrow, which can cause the arrow to slip down the string on release.  Maybe you have some of the same issues, even though you shoot split fingers.  If two metal nocks bother you, have you considered tied-on nocks?  They sort of merge with the string and are easy to ignore after a while.

For my own particular style of shooting I find my bareshats will be slightly nock high but when I fletch them they shoot like darts. I guess the reason is the fletching needs clearance from the shelf. Therefore I tune mine slightly nock high bareshaft.

I've shot and owned bows from 48" to 64" and every one of my bows shoot nock high. It must be my release but i don't fight it and they fly great fletched and not bad bare shaft except for the nock high.

I'm not worried about the flight, I've worked on this bow for a few years. Just thought maybe it was a release issue that was solved by going to a longer bow. If I win the lottery, I'll try it and let you know. Thanks for the responses, I appreciate it. 62" longbows have no such issues for me and I can shoot a bare shaft straight. I figure it's string length.
