Another great addition to your instructional videos Jimmy.  I found a missing key.....a deep hook grip doesn't have to start with heavily curled fingers which kept tension in the back of my hand.  Your advice to start with relaxed fingers just fixed a chronic issue.....Javi will be glad to hear this.  Lol.

Great explanation, and great timing for me also.  I've been working on the blind bale in the basement, (what else can we do in the dead of winter!), and noticed on video of myself that I cock my wrist prior to the draw, reaching anchor before my elbow comes all the way around, resulting in having to conciously engage the back to get aligned.  Gonna try more of the "j" draw you described and see if it helps.  Thanks for posting and keep 'em coming!

Enjoyed the video. I had not practiced the hand part of the release in a while as a stand alone.

Thank You, Thank You. What a great video. Really enjoyed watching you shoot. I struggle with hand tension....in fact I struggle with tension on everything. Just bearing down in the the key for archery. Works if you are an NFL lineman. This video will help me a lot. Between you and Moebow I will be a good shot someday.

Ranger B,

Have you considered placing your collection of quite useful video demos on one CD?

Consider me in line if you do.

Really helpful video jimmy, thanks for posting. I'd been waiting til the end of season to implement some of the tips moebow has in his rotational draw vid. By combining your input and his I have really been able to get into my back and off the string cleaner.

As per your observation when full expansion is reached as opposed to the 'slump' stance there is a lot of extra draw length to be had. A huge bonus for a guy as stumpy as me! Thanks once again.
