Was planning too but the wife changed my schedule last night. I usually spent most of Thanksgiving Day chasing caribou getting back in time for turkey. Instead she says that I have go to my daughters TG morning. So no caribou but I still may slip in some fur calling with my SIL.

Day after for me. Family tradition is the local 10k before the feast. Gonna break 50 minutes pushing my little girl in the jogger!
Gun season starts saturday so we have one more day in Maryland before the orange army comes out for two weeks.

You bet!! I'll be hunting a brand new spot with buck sign like I haven't seen in a long time.
The fact that I've worked so much and have hardly hunted this fall makes tomorrow mornings hunt even sweeter......I have very high hopes....

Yessir, wouldn't miss it for the world. The Thanksgiving hunt has always been a special time for me. Years past, I was a hardened bird hunter on this special day, but the last 5 yrs. or so has seen me sitting in the deer woods with bow in hand. Good Luck to everyone venturing out in the AM!!!!

My son and I made it out into the wind and the (barely) spitting rain. We saw two does (kicked up by some other hunters), several squirrels (missed one by this --> <-- much), a few rabbits and a cock pheasant.
The pheasant was about ten yards away and I was so happy to have a shot at him that I promptly dropped my arrow in a mud puddle. Whoopsie!
Oh well - I'll go ahead and declare this a fantastic morning.
