Chuck, thank you, I'm working on that. In practice I'll hold and move to several different spots on the target, sometimes going through that routine as long as 5-6 seconds before the release happens. I might hold longer at longer distances, but I don't really release in a particular time frame. When the right sight picture happens the pull-thru and the resulting release just seem to coincide.
Moebow, sir, the short answer is that while I'm starting to get pretty comfortable I also know that when you're green you're gold and when you're ripe you're most often rotten. I'm always looking to improve and constructive criticsm from those who know will certainly be heeded. I do question the need for the "touching the shoulder" follow-thru that I see in a lot of shooters. Sometimes that happens for me, sometimes it doesn't, and I can't tell any difference in accuracy.
