A different gap
« on: June 09, 2012, 12:55:00 PM »
Does anyone else gap off of the top of the riser cutout ?
I have been doing this for a while shooting split with the ancor behind the jaw under the cheek bone and it works very well out to about 40 yrds. After that I point gap.
The draw back is not all bows work for this at the cutout is too drawn out and not pronounced enough.
20 yrds for my current setup is a hard half inch , 30 yrds is a hard inch under the top of the cutout. 10 yds is nutz on. You get the drift.
Its just another gap system that is more suited for split finger shooters , and for me is a easier gap to deal with along with I have issues with three under conflicting with my glasses.
