The under the chin anchor takes SOME work to really get comfortable with. It feels to many (including me) to be a more vague position and it really does depend on really good alignment (form) to get to work correctly. In the "field" many find that the references that are harder to find are also slower.
I would point out too that with that low an anchor point, your point on distance will really be getting out there. As in all things, there are trade offs. Under the chin is an ergonomically stronger position, but it will be slower to achieve than a more "trad" conventional "side of face" anchor.
Also, the very low position of the arrow nock on the face will really increase your "gaps" if that is how you aim but may not be a factor if you are shooting more instinctively. The under chin really works well when you are shooting sights, but becomes problematic for many when shooting barebow.
