I haven't been, but it looks like a great experience. Do us a favor and take some before and after pics of your shooting. Shoot a dozen arrows at a paper plate at 30 yards before you go, and, after you go through the program, do it again. Post some pictures for us. No pressure, though  :) .

Yeah I did a search of this topic but didn't really find what I was looking for. I will be excited to let everyone know what I learn.

You will have a good time and probably learn some new things. I am sure if you are having problems, he will be able to point them out to you. Only problem is even with the course being somewhat shaded, it sure will be hot in August.

I'm scheduled for a two day class with Rick the first of September followed by an Arkansas hog hunt.  Please post your experiences - I'm reallly looking forward to it!

Awesome school.  My advice would be to purchase his video "The Accuracy Factor" and begin using his anchor/style and set up your arrows like described in the vid.  This will get you ahead of the game before attending.
Be well rested, as you will shoot a LOT down there.
Hotel is inexpensive... mid 50 dollar range.  Fast food and Wally World are within walking distance of hotel.
Rick picks you up in the morns and takes you to lunch mid day, then takes you back to the hotel in the evenings, so you won't be driving a lot there.
Darned good experience.  I highly recommend it.
Rick will video you and post you on youtube, so you will be able to see yourself while shooting  down there... and the rest of us will too!!!! Heh... no pressure, brother!
Have fun.

like Manitou 1, i just got back from ricks school in early spring and learned alot about the little things that you dont ever think about. He will defently have you shooting better when you leave and your confidence will be through the roof. you wont even think about missing a target you just pull up and shoot and you will hit what your looking at!!! But like Manitou 1 said be rested when you get there because you will shoot alot of arrrows both days, have fun and you will enjoy it.

By the way Lonnie Baily see above post, won the 2012 Traditional World Championship in the MLB class! And paid tribute to Rick for helping making it happen.  Way to go Lonnie!

Thought I write to tell how it went. I had such a good time, Rick is such a good down to earth guy. First we shot my bow and got me lined out then he looked my bow over and fixed it to were it was hitting were I look. My first time out on the 20 target range was about the same as always 120ish all day shooting rested up next day went out shot the course a little better the last day shoot of the day was so cool my personal best was 186 I was so happy.   Mike  he helped me with 2 bows my hunting bow and my 3d bow both shoot the same arrows just change the point weight and thats it.
