From contacts lens to glasses

I recently got new glasses after wearing contacts fot 40+ years. My first shot sent them down range about 5 yards. Oops, guess I need to adjust my head position. That's when my friend asked if I shoot instinctive or gap, which prompted my earlier post about aiming, and that's when I realized I didn't know. But I'm comfortable with the term "Instonctive Gap" and that's how I shoot. But if there are any shooters out there who wear glasses, any pointers on head position would be welcome.

Ruff,  I too wear glasses.  IF the string is to the side of your face, I suggest that you are drawing too far back.  for most shooters, the string will lie right on the lens of the glasses in front of your eye.  When released, the string should go OUT(away) from your face, not move along the side.  This (moving along the side of your face)would be the only way to "catch" the glasses and turn them onto a second projectile.

I suggest that it is not your head position that needs adjusting but rather your anchor references on your face.

As usual, need a picture to be sure, this is just a generic answer. Take a close look at my avatar picture -- you can see the string.

Ok, I see that. I'll try moving my anchor although this may shorten my draw. But if that's what works...so be it.

You can see my natural cant in the picture.  If I need more for the shot, just lay everything over to the angle needed.  I suggest that canting that is independent of your alignments is a band aid fix to other problems.

Again, NOT saying that you cannot shoot with an extreme cant, just that many times it causes more problems than it solves.
