Hi guys,
I shoot a 60" predator hunter Dx model takedown. Set at 46#@28. Brace height is 7 and 3/4". I purchased some poc shafts at 55/60 spine which is what they recommended for 160 grain head. I put 5.5" banana cut feathers on set for left wing as I'm right handed. Had the shafts cut to about29". Started shooting and they seemed pretty flat but the went to jays in Michigan and they started fishtailing. They thought I should drop down to a lighter spine like 50/55. I just got back from shooting them with a 160 grizzly and the fishtailing persists. I like the idea of shooting the heaviest arrow /broadhead combination for maximum penetration. What do you think? And where am I going wrong?
Best,
Ed
