My shooting has improved almost on a daily basis since going to a deep hook release. I used to use a static release cause I just couldn't do a follow thru shooting off the tips of my fingers.
 I now have a follow thru release.
 I recommend that if you don't use a deep hook you owe it to yourself to try it. Don't give up to quickly and I believe good things will happen with your shooting.
