Backstop Question
« on: October 31, 2014, 07:38:00 PM »
Hey all:

Besides just plainly not missing the target. What do you all use for a back stop? I live in a neighborhood and want to shoot more than I can get to the range to accomplish. I also would like to start getting my son into shooting with daddy and dont want the arrant arrow hit the neighbors dog...although the cat is fair game. I looked at "the wall" archery backstop on 3rivers but nearly had a stroke when I saw the price.

Thoughts?

Thanks

I use a really big bag, the kind they use for the archery in schools program.  They aren't too expensive.  I also pile a bunch of my old bags, broadhead targets, and deer targets around and behind the bag.  I have a really big yard, though, and can shoot towards the levee out back, where no houses are.

Not an archery shooting FORM question.  This would be much better in the "Pow Wow" section.
