At 3 rivers archery I am going to order some test field points.  What diameter do I need if i am going to use a 3/8 inch shaft?

23/64th is the next smaller size That one should work the best on your tapered point end

should have said the outside diameter of a 160 field point in 23/64th and that will leave less tapered wood showing after mounting any point. Like putting a point 11/32th on a 23/64th shaft.
