help with limb clicker puzzle
« on: March 21, 2016, 11:15:00 PM »
I recently put a limb clicker on my bow. When it works it's awesome. But I'm having an issue and I can't figure out what the problem is. I'm hoping someone can shed some light in it for me.

I stump shoot for fun and also shoot indoors at our club range. When I'm outside I'll get everything working fine. Then a day or two later I'll go to the indoor range for a bit of practice. Almost invariably the clicker will go off just before I get to full draw. So I'll lengthen the clicker cord so the clicker goes off when it should and I shoot fine. Then it will be off for another romp in the woods and guess what. I can't get it to click so I have to shorten the clicker cord.

This indoor/outdoor thing happens consistently and it's driving me nuts. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Any ideas would be most appreciated.
Old doesn't start until you hit three figures...and then it's negotiable

If you are standing in a more open stance outdoors, it will shorten your draw length.  Same as tilting your head forward, not fully extending your bow arm, or a lot of other things.  Something you're doing outdoors is shortening your draw length; you just have to figure out what.
