TP is like the flu, if you've never had it before it's hard to know how to explain what it feels like or how to best get through it.  After 30 years shooting a bow and having experienced TP on more than a few occasions I can offer that the simpler your shooting approach the easier it will be avoid/fix TP when it happens.  And for most folks who have shot for awhile, it WILL happen.

"No matter what I do, I cant move my bow arm up." - this is what you think. But you can't really think that your hand is independent from you, acts on her own, don't you? You just conditioned yourself based on the results.

Holy cow. People do get all worked up on this sight. I just joined trad Gang and I thought we were suppose to respect what people say not say hey don't say this or don't say that like the one guy said. Nobody has the right to have what they say be set in stone. This is just a place to give your opinion and try and help. Don't say this or don't say that to guys just trying to help another archer. Seems pretty childish.  I suggest reading a book called archery insights sold at three rivers. That book will help explain in the best way what target panic is and how to get rid of it. I'm sorry if  someone doesn't like that book. Please don't get offended that I like it.

crazynate...not sure what you are talking about...Don't see anyone 'worked up' or being disrespected.

I see your member number which reveals you are still relatively new compared to some on this thread.....and have no idea of the history of this shooting forum.  I challenge you to find a more civil site on the internet on this topic.  All of your posts are from July of THIS year cept for one.

I see people who know each other and respect each other based on internet posts on THIS site....way UNLIKE things you see on other sites.

Everyone here is posting to help, not harm.  Maybe you read something wrong, or a mod pulled something I didn't see.  If this thread offends you, I don't know of another site to recomend...cept maybe the KumbyYa .com
