Cause of high drawing elbow?
«

I've shot for many decades and have experienced a recurring problem with a high elbow on my drawing arm. This time I found it by developing a blister on my ring finger.
My question is why do I keep experiencing the high elbow? Does it have to do with not properly engaging the back?
It amazes me how much these things can creep up on me!

Really need to see! But, many times is is because of too much forearm and biceps tension and not having that entire (string) arm relaxed. If relaxed, the bow's weight should do the alignment job, not you.

Thanks Arne. I seem to struggle with the relaxing of the drawing arm and hand. I will set up the camera and try to see what is going on. I am coming off a month "layoff" and some of these issues seem to start showing up at such times.
