I agree. IMO it is almost impossible to keep a relaxed bow arm/hand with a high-wrist grip. It's just not a strong position. I don't think "pushing towards the target" is helpful at all. Just focus on gently gripping the bow with the pressure at the base of your thumb and in line with the bones of the forearm (as stated above). If you start the draw with a relaxed, open hand the bow will tell you how to grip it - don't fight it. Think bone on bone, pressure in line with forearm, elbow pointed at 9:00,shoulder down and in the socket.
