Focus your thoughts on pulling to full anchor and nothing more. I struggled through target panic and this little issue keeps us from making good shots.

Thanks for posting this Matt.l have same issues  at times and good to read how others deal with it.Trad gang has been a refuge for me and so grateful  for all the info and advice that can be found.

Im a snap shooter, but frequentlyI nock an arrow and SLOWLY draw the arrow back to my anchor point....pause there, then slowly lower it to rest position.Then I repeat the process another 6-10 times..!  With my eyes closed the entire time..!

I do this to recalibrate my hand/brain syncrinization. I do it in front if a bale at maybe 5 yards?? Just in case I should accidently release, which I never have.

This is a very beneficial drill for ME....hope it helps......jackdaw
