Muffin tin grilled biscuits
« on: April 09, 2003, 11:56:00 AM »
Quick and simple biscuit recipe for the next time you grill:

Take a couple of six-compartment muffin tins, add about a tablespoon of butter or margarine to each compartment, and place on grill while the meat is finishing up.  When the butter is sizzling well, carefully place a canned biscuit in each compartment.  Takes maybe five minutes for the biscuits to rise and brown on bottom; then gently flip them over with a fork or spoon for a couple of minutes, til brown on top.  May take a little experience to get them cooked just like you like 'em.

Good, rich "smoky" flavor, and a great bread to accompany grilled food, potato salad, etc.

Al, this sounds good to me.  I've never tried em that way, but it sure sounds good.
