The most common complaint with regards to eating these birds is that they taste "fishy". Sea-birds have been a staple of the people of the islands of Scotland for centuries, but only thru necessity. If they had the option of a nice juicey rib-eye, they sureley would have jumped at it. There are many dishes from around the world that combine sea-food and poultry.
