Hey Mike, sounds good!
Question though... I've always heard that a boar with any size to it wasn't fit to eat. Everybody says it will run ya out the house from the stink alone. I know that yours was a bigg'n so what's the deal? Guys I work with down there in TX say they usually just leave a boar lay when they shoot one. Heck, some of these guys will go out and shoot 4 or 5 in an evening and not bring any of the meat home. Of course, they look at them as some kind of varmint between a skunk and an armadillo I think.
But seriously, I think EVERYBODY I've ever talked to about hunting pigs says you can't eat a big boar. Is there something you can do to improve the meat like cutting out glands or something? I've never hunted them but I have several invites to go and plan to take some time to hunt them after deer season in MO is done. I hate the thought of shooting a big one and not being able to eat it.
