Yeah, I know dummy forgot!  :)
Put second crust on top and crimp edgs, make slits in top, now you can bake it. Sorry for the trouble.

LOL, you left off it's overcoat? - Matt, just go back and click on the thread, go to your part of the post and click on "Edit" above it. The original will come up and you can add this part (only you, the author, or a moderator can do that - or I'd do it for you).

Made the grape pie recipe this past weekend. Used a combination of red and green seedless grapes. Also adjusted the recipe to make a ten inch pie. The pie was excellent. Would also think that the grapes would make an excellent cobbler. Will give that a try soon. The guys I hunt with will enjoy this recipe. Thanks for sharing.

Bill, I am glad you liked the pie. I use to eat grape pies in the fifties and haven't seen one since, till I found this recipe on a can of grapes this year. I didn't know that you could buy them in can either. :)  I have told my wife about grape pies and she just smiled. Now that she has tasted a grape pie, she still smiles but for a different reason. Muscadine grapes ought to make a killer pie!

Matt, I had no idea you could buy canned grapes. I used the fresh ones. My friend Ric O'Shay(Danny Long) is still complaining because I did not save him a piece of this pie. Tried to, but it just disappeared. Guess I'll just have to bake another
one so Danny can taste test it for me. Thanks again for the recipe.      :bigsmyl:

I have often wondered why you don't hear much about grape pies? They taste great and are relatively easy to make. You hear of all types of pies
but the elusive grape pie gets very little press?  :)
