CROCKPOT PEPPER STEAK
« on: January 26, 2006, 10:37:00 AM »
2 pounds steak from deer or elk
1 can tomatoes (16 ounce size)
1 large onion, sliced
2 medium green peppers, sliced
6 ounces mushrooms, sliced
3 tablespoons soy sauce.  Kikkomen
2 tablespoons blackstrap molasses
1/2 cup flour
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 can evaporated milk

Cut steaks into strips.  Mix flour, salt, and pepper in a bag and shake the steak fingers.  Put steaks into the crockpot and dump the remaing flour mixture on top.  Add all other ingredients except evaporated milk.  Cover and turn crockpot to high for one hour.  Reduce heat to low and cook for 9 or 10 hrs.  When its done I add the evaporated milk to consistency that I want it then I heat it up again and serve.
