Pronghorn brace height?
«

Hello all. I just picked up a used Pronghorn and was wondering what brace height others were shooting their bows at? The bow is a three piece 60" model.
thanks,
Tom.

I've got both of mine braced at 7-1/4" Seems to be the quietest/sweetest for both the 3 & 1-piece.

All my longbows shoot best at 7" for me.

Thanks for all of the suggestions. I spoke to Herb last night and he recommended bewteen 6 3/4 and 7. I like the bow. It does take some getting used to but it shoots nice and smooth and best of all, quiet. Tom.

Once you spend a week with a Pronghorn, your hooked. I've danced with purdy ones but she's the one I took home.

I bought a 60"-60# pronghorn from Wyoming Chief about a month ago and I just love it. All my buddies that have shot it want one now. Even in 3 piece it`s still a small, slender bow, more like a one piece longbow. It`s the most forgiving bow I`ve ever shot.

Spoke to Herb yesterday and my new Pronghorn will be added to the stable the end of January. That makes five! A 62" PLX,64" Great Plains bamboo,64" Hornes Combo,60" Hornes Brush Bow and the 62" Pronghorn. Moving to TN next week and already can't wait for the fall 2008 season!!

I like my Pronghorns better than any other bows I've ever shot. They shoot best at 7 1/4 for me.
