sandwich heaven (roast in slow cooker)
« on: February 25, 2010, 12:19:00 AM »
Take a couple pounds of roast throw in crock pot with 1 jar destemmed pepperoncini peppers and the juice from the jar. A little pepper and garlic to taste.  6 hours later put on a hard roll(with lots'o juice soak its innerds) and some provolone on top.  Voila, sandwich heaven.  Simple is better.  My eyes roll back just thinking about the leftovers.

Try it and report back I am just passing on the wealth.

Bring a compass because it's awkward when you have to eat your friends.

So you just leave them whole or do you dice them up?
Never would have tried that, sounds like a good easy dish to take to the game dinner night at the archery League.

I leave the peppers whole, minus the stem tops.
