I've seen the black widow PSR and Mahaska...are there any others that are good quality? The PSR is EXPENSIVE!

Couldn't find a website for Bow River either. I just remembered them from when I was on my own 50's style search a couple years ago. I have a brochure I sent away for somewhere.

There is a McCullough 59er in the classifieds here right now. Hard pressed to find a better 50s style.

Agree with vermonster13 on the McCullough 59er.
One of the best grips out there.

The Great Nothern Super Ghost has more of a R/D longbow riser. What you are looking for is a Ghost. The best thing to ever come along for me!

Unfortunately, Rick Lepp (Bow River Archery) isn't in the bow building business anymore. I called him, for some info on a used longbow I bought. It's too bad, he made some really nice bows.

The PSR may be considered expensive, but they are nice, and they hold their value very well!
