« on: February 28, 2011, 06:34:00 PM »
MAN I made some rabbitt stew this week end an it was great! an easy too.
2 rabbitt
5-red potato
3cloves-garlic
1-med onion
3-hand full of chopped carott
olive oil
1-qt of chicken stock 1-2 cups of water

lets cook! 1st glaze onion an garlic in fry pan with olive oil.throw into soup pot.
2nd add more olive oil to fry pan sear rabbitt parts cook about 1/3 of the way set aside
3rd add chicken stock to pot with water an carrots.at this point you should have the carrots in the pot with garlic an onion an stock
4th bring to a boil stir add rabbitt cook 1 hr.dont stir a hole lot just let the damn things cook.after 1hr add potato an maybe some more water simmer for 45 min.you can add water as needed but keep tasting the stock so you dont dilute the taste.ENJOY this stuff is good!

That sounds good.I love rabbitt stew.
Now then, get your equipment—your quiver and bow—and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me.

This recipe is really good. 'Plumber" Ed Long who lives close by brought me over a batch to try out.

Mouth watering gooooood!!
